Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, many of my views and opinions on the world were formed and molded there. In my early 20's I moved to San Diego, California and fell in love with the southern climate and lifestyle. I soon thereafter immigrated to the US and began a long journey through the best and worst sides of the American dream. This further shaped and molded me into what I have become today.
I began writing poetry as a teenager and while living in California, met a musician (David Greer) who asked me if he could put music to a few of my poems. This was the lightning bolt that changed my direction forever. I stopped writing poems and began writing lyrics. I soon discovered that my lyrics were very different from my poems and the trend continued to this day.
I met my wife Amy while working at an electronics manufacturing company, married and moved to Vietnam to expand my adventure. This turned out to be a huge life-changer for me. My songwriting exploded and I began pumping out a huge catalog of material. I also began teaching grade-school children which I had never imagined that I would be doing at any point in my life. It is a very rewarding profession!
